Philips Norelco 7310 Men’s Shaving System Review
Strictly from a shaving performance point of view, this model performs as well as much more expensive Norelco shavers. I also own a Norelco 8175XL that costs 3 times as much and uses the blades advertised as having “50% more shaving area.” This shaves as fast, close, and comfortable as the more expensive shavers. If you’ve owned older Norelco shavers, you’ll be pleased by advances such as a quiet motor, lithium ion (LiOn) batteries instead of nickel cadmium (NiCad), and the ability to clean the shaver by running it under the faucet. What it lacks is some indicator that the battery is running low. Some reviewers have commented on the fact that it takes 10 hours to recharge, whereas more expensive Norelco’s rechage in 1 hour. I actually prefer the slower charge. The fast charge razors state that you should unplug the charger as soon as the charge is complete. I find it much more convenient to plug it in either overnight or when I go to sleep, then to remember to unplug it in an hour. Overall, a great value for the money.
